What are the SAFe® for Architects course details?

Exam requirements

As the initial step to becoming a certified SAFe^® Architect (ARCH), sign up for a 3-day long instructor-led online SAFe^® for Architects certification and training program. This course will cover all vital objectives and topics to help you learn architectural solution development. You will also get access to material and tools to clear the ARCH – SAFe Architect exam.

Exam prerequisite skills

To appear in the exam and clear it, you need to have the following:

Experience with Lean-Agile principles
Certification in any SAFe^® course
Attended 3-days SAFe^® for Architects training

Exam details

Exam name – ARCH – SAFe Architect

Exam format – Multiple choices, multiple responses

Exam delivery – Web-based (single-browser), closed book, no outside assistance, timed

Exam access – Candidates can access the exam within the SAFe Community Platform upon completion of the course

Exam duration – Once the exam begins, candidates have 90 minutes (1.5 hours) to complete the exam.

Number of questions – 45

Passing score – 32 out of 45 (71%)

Language – English

Exam cost – First exam attempt is included as part of the course registration fee if the exam is taken within 30 days of course completion. Each retake attempt costs $50.

Retake policy – Second attempt on the exam (first retake) can be done immediately after the first attempt. The third attempt requires a 10-day wait. The fourth attempt requires a 30-day wait.
