What is SAFe® for Teams (SP) course about?
Attending this two-day SAFe® for Teams course will give you the tactical tools and techniques to establish Team Agility for Agile Release Trains.
SAFe® for Teams will teach you all about your role on an Agile team and how your team works with others as part of an ART. You will learn how to plan and execute work, how to apply Scaled Agile Framework® and Agile principles, and how to continuously improve. Taking SAFe® for Teams course with your team will empower all of you with the collective knowledge to collaborate effectively, do the best possible work and hit the ground running before your next PI planning event.

- Introducing the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe®)
- Building an Agile Team
- Planning the Iteration
- Executing the Iteration

What are the SAFe® for Teams (SP) course certification details?
Exam requirements
The first step toward becoming a Certified SAFe® Practitioner (SP) is to attend this course. This is a requirement because attending the course provides access to all the study materials and the exam. Note that attending the course does not guarantee passing the exam.

- Experience in Agile
- Experience in Lean
Exam details
- Exam name – SAFe® Practitioner Exam
- Exam format – Multiple choice, multiple responses
- Exam delivery – Web-based (single-browser), closed book, no outside assistance, timed
- Exam access – Candidates can access the exam within the SAFe Community Platform upon completion of your course
- Exam duration – Once the exam begins, candidates have 90 minutes (1.5 hours) to complete the exam.
- Number of questions – 45
- Passing score – 35 out of 45 (77%)
- Language – English
- Exam cost – First exam attempt is included as part of the course registration fee if the exam is taken within 30 days of course completion. Each retake attempt costs $50.
- Retake policy – Second attempt on exam (first retake) can be done immediately after first attempt. Third attempt requires a 10-day wait. Fourth attempt requires a 30-day wait.
